Masashi Kina, tuba

沖縄県与那原町出身。東京藝術大学音楽学部卒業。

10歳の時にトランペットを始める。翌年テューバに転向。 中学でフィリップ・ジョーンズ・ブラス・アンサンブルのジョン・フレッチャー氏に憧れプロ奏者を目指す。 2004年ドイツ・マルクノイキルヒェン国際コンクールにてディプロマ受賞。2005年第75回読売新人演奏会に出演。2007年第12回コンセール・マロニエ21(栃木県)第3位受賞。2010年日本管打楽器コンクール第2位受賞。2004年藝大フィルとE.ボザ作曲「テューバ小協奏曲」を共演するほか、2016年沖縄尚学中学・高等学校、2017年富山商業高等学校とソリストとして共演。ITEA国際テューバ、ユーフォニアム協会カンファレンス2014年(米インディアナ)、2016年(米テネシー)にてユーフォニアム・テューバ・コレクティブのメンバーとして出演し、いづれも好評を博す。ソロ、アンサンブルの他、後進の指導にも力を入れている。2013年度、音楽之友社刊『バンドジャーナル』ワンポイントレッスンを1年間執筆担当。

これまでに札幌交響楽団、仙台フィルハーモニック管弦楽団、群馬交響楽団、NHK交響楽団、東京都交響楽団、読売日本交響楽団、東京交響楽団、日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団、新日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団、東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団、東京シティフィルハーモニック管弦楽団、東京ニューシティ管弦楽団、千葉交響楽団(ニューフィルハーモニーオーケストラ千葉)、神奈川フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、名古屋フィルハーモニー交響楽団、兵庫芸術文化センター管弦楽団、広島交響楽団、九州交響楽団、琉球交響楽団、琉球フィルハーモニー管弦楽団(チェンバーオーケストラ イオ)に客演。

テューバを上江洲安彦、稲川榮一の両氏に師事。メランジェ合奏団、シアターオーケストラTokyo(熊川哲也氏率いるKバレエ団専属オーケストラ)、オグニック ブラス アンサンブル、各メンバー。(一財)地域創造公共ホール音楽活性化支援事業(おんかつ)登録アーティスト。埼玉県立大宮光陵高等学校、及び洗足学園音楽大学非常勤講師。

Masashi Kina was born on December 22nd, 1980. He began playing the trumpet at the age of 9, and the converted to playing the tuba at the age of 10. He entered the Tokyo University of the Arts (Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music) in the year 2001, and graduated in 2005. He studied under Yasuhiko Uezu, and Eiichi Inagawa. Semifinalist and DIPLOMA winning of Internationale Instrumental Competition Markneukirchen (Deutsch) in May 2004. Winning the 2nd prize at Japan Wind and Percussion Competition in 2010. Winning the 5th prize at Japan Wind and Percussion Competition in 2004 and 2007. Winning the 3rd prize at Concert Marronnier 21(Tochigi – Japan) in 2007. He is now based in Tokyo and has worked with many prestigious ensembles including Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, and New Japan Philharmonic etc. And he is lecturer of Senzoku Gakuen college of music.
